Alibaba va investir 28 milliards de dollars pour rester à la page et améliorer l’infrastructure cloud d’ici à 2023.
Alibaba a annoncé qu’il allait investir 200 milliards de yuans (28 milliards de dollars) au niveau de ses infrastructures (« cloud ») au cours des trois prochaines années, alors que la demande a grimpé avec le recours au télétravail du fait de l’épidémie du Coronavirus.
Dans un communiqué, le géant chinois de la distribution en ligne a indiqué qu’il allait consacrer ces fonds au développement de semi conducteurs et de systèmes d’opération, tout en bâtissant un centre de données.
La division cloud est l’une des plus florissantes du groupe chinois. Les revenus qu’elle a générés au quatrième trimestre 2019 ont pour la première fois dépassé le seuil des 10 milliards de yuans.
